Asbestos Project Design/Project Management
Abatement Project Design and Management: SMITHCO. develops creative, cost-effective solutions and oversees all aspects of the asbestos abatement project, from initial planning and design through final documentation.
During the work, SMITHCO. Personnel collects and analyze air samples, ensure the contractor is in compliance with regulations, monitor the containment integrity, and perform visual inspections and air sampling to ensure the work area is safe for re-occupancy.
Throughout the project, SMITHCO. monitors budgets and puts together construction schedules to track contractor productivity and ensure that budgets and deadlines are met.
Asbestos Air Monitoring and Quality Assurance Oversight
Air monitoring shall be performed during every asbestos-related abatement, demolition, maintenance and/or repair project. Air monitoring personnel will be present during air sampling. This helps to prevent invalid samples, including sample tampering and overloaded samples.
Building Surveys and Hazard Assessments: State and federal regulations hold building owners and employers responsible for protecting employees, occupants and outside contractors from exposure to asbestos.
